Thank you for visiting Good Bird Design.    Four short weeks ago we began inviting friends, family, and neighbors to join our village clean water project to benefit the people of Fawomanye, Ghana.  We settled in for the adventure, knowing it might take a long while to raise the $7,000 needed to drill a bore hole in this village. 

The response has been nothing short of amazing.  

 In less than three weeks, we received $5,250 in donations.  THREE WEEKS!  That is exactly 75% of our goal. Thank you to all of our kind friends who have given so much to this project!

Clean water in Fawomanye will literally save and change lives.  Women and children in this village spend 6 hours of each day carrying contaminated water back to the village for their families.  We can change that.   Let's see how close we can come to reaching our goal in 2012!  Please join our community of caring and

Africa Heartwood Project discovered the need for a well in Fawomanye and will be facilitating the operations necessary to drill the bore hole.  100% of every penny donated to the Good Bird Water Project will go directly toward building this well.  If you wish to donate, please use the PayPal button on our sidebar.  This will send your donation directly to Africa Heartwood Project and the Good Bird Water Project fund.  Donations of ANY amount are welcome and appreciated!
